About Me
I am a trainee prosthetics, hair and makeup artist with a passion for the horror and fantasy genre, making my own prosthetics and character designs to bring a vision to life. I display a wide range of skills, ranging from realistic and safe SFX applications to creature design. Alongside this I have a passion for postiche and being able to apply this efficiently. My talents do not stop at just prosthetics, as I have worked on fashion shoots and have done wig styling and hair cutting for continuity. I feel confident working in a team, with new individuals and also demoing my skills. Always striving to push myself and work on something out of the ordinary, I am always up for a new challenge.

BA Hons in creative hair and media makeup (TV and Film and Prosthetics)

In order to learn all of the essential skills needed for the industry, I completed a top up year in order to give myself a BA Hons. This will set me up to eventually pursue a full time freelance career in SFX makeup and prosthetics.

I passed this with a distinction at University centre Leeds. This course helped me embrace the passion I had for SFX makeup as I realised this is something I want to progress further in. I had a creative outlet for my peculiar ideas, with my character designs and concepts coming to life.
I finished this year course with a merit and it was very beneficial for me. Coming from a Fine Art background I always had a love for sculpting and human anatomy sketches. However, this course pushed me to understand what my passion truly was, making me want to progress onto a SFX makeup course after I finished. This kickstarted my passion for SFX.
